Matt Ulbrich, owner of Junk King Detroit Metro, joined the Junk King team in May 2019. He is ready to help customers solve the problem of trying to reclaim their space through junk removal. Prior to owning and operating Junk King Detroit Metro, Ulbrich spent 14 years working in an information technology role and most recently was the Vice President of Technology for a Michigan-based financial services company. He has held supervising and client-facing roles, giving him unique insight on all aspects of running a successful business. “As I reviewed my options, I was impressed with Junk King’s reputation and dedication to providing the best experience for customers through their systems. The opportunity was a natural fit for me,” stated Ulbrich.

Matt and his wife have spent almost their entire lives in Southeast Michigan. After purchasing their first home 12 years ago in the Detroit suburbs, Matt and his wife fell in love with their immediate community and decided to raise a family here. Living in such a culturally rich and diverse environment, the Ulbrich family enjoys all that their neighborhood has to offer. As active members of the community, they are constantly looking for ways to give back to the people and businesses that have provided so much opportunity for them. By owning a local business, the Ulbrichs and the Junk King Detroit Metro team anticipate contributing to the local economy and look forward to cultivating long-term relationships with other local businesses.
