Big shout out to Elijah and Rob from Junk Kings who removed our heavy behemoth of an upright piano from our basement. We were sending it to the dump, but all the people we contacted wanted the job until they saw the size of the piano and the narrow stairwell they would have to navigate. Then the price doubled because of the manpower needed. Fortunately, Junk Kings had a different solution. Elijah had watched a YouTube video of how to dismantle an old piano and they took it out in pieces. (Yes, a sledge hammer was involved). They matched the lowest price quoted and did it the next day. Yay! They even moved my smaller spinet piano to the space formerly occupied by the behemoth at no extra charge. Great can do attitudes, professional demeanor and excellent communication made it a total pleasure to work with them. They even let me film the “demolition” of the old piano. Call these guys first! I give them 6 stars out of 5! 👊🏻
